Products made with Superwool, a refractory fiber, are excluded from the EU carcinogenic classification and can be exported without issues even under the distribution regulations for Refractory Ceramic Fibers (RCF) (REACH regulations). With a heat resistance of over 1000°C, it can be applied not only for fire protection in ships and buildings but also for insulation in industrial furnaces, with proven results in annealing furnaces in the steel industry. Additionally, improvements in manufacturing technology have increased the specific surface area of the fibers and reduced high-temperature thermal conductivity by 20%, allowing for even greater insulation and lightweight properties compared to conventional RCF and bio-soluble fibers.
